Syuusuke no Kanojo

After the Conan episode Torn friendship (Shonen Sunday files 398-400), Gosho created another Kid episode called “Golden Eye”. This episode has two files which were published in Shonen Sunday volumes 34 and 35 (2002). So, it’s very recently.

The story begins when Kid went to steal a valuable item as usual. However, this time, he met an unexpected guest. This was not a normal guest. He was “Chat Noir” (it means “Black Cat” in French). He was a French bandit. He came to challenge Kid (the number one bandit in Japan) to steal “Golden Eye” from Ocean Hotal at 9 PM next Sunday.

“Golden Eye” was a golden diamond ring which was once belong to the famous Queen of France Marie Antoinette. This diamond ring was being exhibited on the 23rd floor of Ocean Hotel.

Inspector Nagamori alone could not handle two professional bandits. So, he got help from two other people. One was a French guard “Alan Cartier” who was specially assigned to protect Golden Eye. The other one was an American “Ruby Jones” who was the representative from the insurance company who insured Golden Eye.

Do you still remember Hakuga Saguru? Hakuba was Kaito’s classmate (also a talented detective). In this episode, Hakuba was in France. Still, he called Kaito and gave him the information about Bandit Chat Noir (although Kaito once again refused he was not Bandit Kid, Hakuba didn’t care).

According to the plan to arrest these two professional thieves, Inspector Nagamori had to pretend to be a puppet wearing the Golden Eye ring, sitting in the middle of the exhibition room. Would this plan work? Wouldn’t they know that the two bandits already came close to them?

What would be the result of this challenge? Who would win? Would the police win eventually?

When a priceless jewelry exhibit comes to town, so does Kaitou Kid, a famous burglar who leaves a note announcing his intentions to steal the Black Star—the most valuable pearl in the world. When Conan, Mouri, and Ran are offered a free stay at a posh hotel on the beach if they join a mystery tour, they jump at the chance. But their accommodations are only paid for in full if they uncover the identity of the tour promoter who is posing as one of the guests. It’s all fun in the sun until one of the tour members is murdered! But which of the other tour members would murder the promoter and why? Could it be the sexy entrepreneur? Or perhaps the oddly intimidating computer expert? Or perhaps former Martial Arts Champ and his fiancé? The wise, elderly and his burly assistant also cast an aura of suspicion. Just when Conan thinks he’s close to solving the puzzle the unexpected happens; Knight Baron appears! But if the victim wasn’t the tour promoter, then who is? And why has he lured these guests together for a mystery contest only to turn it into his personal game of murder?

Mouri, Ran and Conan attended a fan tour about Holmes. All the people invited were allowed to stay in the house for 3 days and were given a test about Holmes. The winner will get a book , the first one ever published by Holmes if he or she answers 990 correct points. The answers will be discussed by dinner time of the second day. However Kanaya-san, the host of the event and the owner of the vacation inn Mycroft plummeted off a cliff in his car. The remaining people due to isolation, all remained in one room to prevent any other murders. However, Ayako-san who claimed that she knew who the murderer was killed by the explosion on the garage. Fujiwara-san was then attacked by an icepick when a blackout occured. Conan was actually having his deductions while Hattori Heiji, who came to the event to see Shinicki Kudo, noticed that he actually acts like Shinichi and would never gave in to the clues that he is giving (just like what he always do to Mouri-san when he asks questions). Conan had no choice but to put Hattori to sleep since he can not use Mouri, Hattori would probably notice it. And that was what Hattoi wanted exactly in order to reveal his identity. And the real culprit was… Toganou-san. The motive was the book that the owner and Fujiwara-san published. The second crime was actually intended for Fujiwara san and not to his girlfriend.

In the end, hattori found out that conan is actually Shinichi and the device that he use. Conan would admit at first and Hattori acted out like he was going to tell Ran about it when Conan bursted “Chotto Made na”

The three were welcomed by 4 priests and their abbott. The next day, the abbott died and the police thougt it was just suicide. But our little hero does not think so. It was murder and the murderer is Master Shuunen. Master Shuunen was actually the brother of the monk who was killed two years ago. He came to the inn to find out the mystery of his brother’s death and the killer himself. He later confessed that he killed the hiller of his brother because the abbot does not wan’t to let his granduaghter be married to a mere monk when he already aranged the wedding of his daughter to a rich kid.
