Miko Samson

Just stumbled upon some websites about Miko Samson. I suddenly remembered him bcos my friend’s bf somewhat looks like him…

I’d also like to add some excerpts on his interviews:

“Live each day to the fullest,” that’s his motto in life. “I’m a person wholikes to make most out of everything.” Does he look up to anyone? “I don’t really look up to other people. I’m not going to get any better if I keep looking up to another person who isn’t me. If I look up to myself and give myself some credit and try to beat that, I end up becoming a better person.” Is there a secret to his success that he would like to share to everyone, specially the youth? “Don’t be afraid ‘cause if you’re afraid, you won’t be able to do anything. It’s not a motto, it’s more of a philosophy I live by for me, there’s no such thing as fear. There’s only control I mean, why be scared of something, you haven’t even experienced.”

This guy is really cool! Too bad he is not in the showbusiness already but I really salute him for finishing his studies. When I was in my senior year I saw him @ one of the fastfood chains in Katipunan. I’m not sure if it is Jan 1 or 2.. he was with his classmates, a freshman at Ateneo. Of course I still remembered it it was the 2nd time that I saw him, the first one was when I was a sophomore he was at HS then. He watched a play at my school….

Sigh… whatever happened to this cutie

Ogata Megumi

Megumi OGATA

Megumi has a deep voice that stands out from the higher voices of many female seiyū. Although Ms. Ogata has played some feminine characters, such as Esmeraude in Magic Knight Rayearth, she is best known for playing young men and boys (i.e. Kurama, Shinji Ikari, Yukito, Yugi) and boyish women (most famously the lesbian Haruka Tenoh, a.k.a. Sailor Uranus of Sailor Moon). Kurama was the starting point of Ogata’s success . At that time , She was still not a qualified seiyu . The staff of Yu.Yu.Hakusho project tried to use Ogata and obtained a satisfactory result .
